How does the medication management (eMar) system work?

The electronic Medication Administration Record (eMar) system in Care Pathway Pro digitally manages all aspects of medication administration. Staff can view scheduled medications, PRN (as needed) medications, and STAT (one-time) orders for each service user. When administering medication, staff simply click to record the administration with automatic timestamp and user tracking. The system alerts staff to upcoming doses, tracks refusals or omissions with required reasons, and maintains complete medication histories. This reduces medication errors, improves patient safety, and ensures full compliance with medication management regulations.
